The different IIGS Mainboard versions  
     
Throughout the years Apple manufactured 3 different kinds of mainboards for the IIGS.
They are recognized by the user at Bootup time at the screen of the monitor in the
bottomline  as ROM00, ROM01 or ROM 03 version.

 

  
   
Below now the mainboards starting with ROM 00 and ending with ROM 03 and in the

pictures i enlighted the differences of the mainboards with similar shades -

for example the clock battery is enlighted with light yellow shade....
