Oscillator wave frequency is 17.7344 MHz. This frequency is divided by the single chip custom LSI ( M60719 ) into frequencies needed for timings within the MZ-700 ( e.g. CPU clocking 3.55 MHZ, PAL 4.4361875 MHz, horizontal synchronizing 15.625 kHz, vertical synchronizing 50 Hz ).
