<Melissa> Yes, but I just found out I spent 3 days working on something that couldn't work ever. Was I ever mad.

<Melissa> Well, I think right now work is more stressful than school was. The Wilson's don't seem to be in a big hurry to put any offer on paper, and although "their word" means a lot, I'd rather see a contract. I'm considering applying to NBtel.

<Melissa> Right now? School. I miss everyone.

<Alien Capture> Yes, I understand that, but besides the "gang", do you like working more than school, or would much rather go another 2 years at NBCC.

<Melissa> Um... 2 more years?? no way. But I'd go back until June...

<Alien Capture> Well I can agree with you both, I never seem to get anywhere either. Just round and round in circles. Oh, just one . I sent a chat to you twice, maybe the first screwed up.

<Melissa> Ahhh.... I don't know, I had a "General Protection Fault" thing, which can mean it's broken, to "your house is on fire" basically. <grin>

<Melissa> Yeah, and they offer to show you the details, like you could fix it. Oh, yuh....

<flags> I've had it come up on my programs and looking at the details didn't help at all..

<Melissa> What is the freeze button for? It wrote off when I pressed it.

<flags> Yeah, I do it all the time since half of my header files aren't in the right place or something

<Melissa> Some Visual C++ programmer went a little overboard there.

<Alien Capture> Where in the F did you go Melissa!! Did you phone line die or something! You know what Visual C++ does at work melissa. IT actuall give you the option to DEBUG your general protection fault. It will let you go thru the assembly code of the .exe!! Now that is f'ed up!!
